This year has been a challenging one for many and so as we approach 2024, we wanted to express our sincerest gratitude to our community. Thank you to all our investors. Thank you to our entrepreneurs. Thank you to our ecosystem partners. Thank you to the general community for supporting what we do. And thank you to everyone who participated in our ‘Capital for the Community’ initiative between December 1st to 15th. Together we made a big difference!
With offices in both Vancouver and Toronto, we wanted to support both Covenant House Vancouver and Covenant House Toronto for the amazing work they are doing across this country. Covenant House Vancouver is currently running a triple matching campaign thanks to the generosity of Kim and Bryan James. This means that our donation of $2,195 resulted in $6,585 to support youth experiencing homelessness in the city.
For our donation to Covenant House Toronto, we will be working with Kits for a Cause to provide kits of tangible products that these youth experiencing homelessness need. For example, a Winter Warmth Kit includes gloves or mittens, thermal socks, polar fleece blanket and an emergency blanket, warm winter hat or toque, fleece scarf, lip balm, body lotion, and a sleeping bag. We will be working with both organizations to provide them with the types of kits and supplies they need. We have also heard from Covenant House that they often need more supplies in January once the holiday season has passed and the winter season really starts in Ontario. Our team will be getting together on January 24th to pack all of these kits as a group and to donate them to Covenant House Toronto.

From December 1st to December 15th, FrontFundr ran a campaign for the 15 Days of Christmas were made a donation for 2% of the value of all investments made in our eligible community campaigns. As an example, for every $1,000 invested in eligible companies on our platform, FrontFundr made a $20 donation to Covenant House. This means that 100% of your investment went towards shares in a company, and that an additional 2% was donated by FrontFundr to a great non-profit organization.
